Ces trois Luria lurida me posent problème tant elles sont semblables à celle du Cape-Verde! Théoriquement elles ne peuvent pas être pulchroides minima puisque venant de la Méditerranée (Almeria). Mais le golfe d' Almeria dans la Mer d' Alboran est particulier. L' eau y est claire, froide (15°), alimenté par l' eau de l' Atlantique qui passe en surface du Détroit de Gibraltar, sur la couche d' eau plus chaude et plus salée de la Méditerranée. Il ne serait pas étonnant que des larves planctoniques y arrivent en provenance du Cape-Verde. Pêchées dans 5m. de fond. Taille: 32, 30 et 28 mm.
These three Luria lurida pose a problem to me as they are similar to that of Cape Verde! Theoretically they can not be pulchroides minima since coming from the Mediterranean (Almeria). But the Gulf of Almeria in the Sea of Alboran is particular. The water is clear, cold (15 °), fed by the Atlantic water which passes on the surface of the Strait of Gibraltar, on the warmer and saltier layer of water of the Mediterranean. It would not be surprising if planktonic larvae arrive from Cape Verde. Fished in 5m. background. Size: 32, 30 and 28 mm.
